Nevertheless it is possible to get the AHCI features even with these "castrated" ICH8/8/10 Southbridge PC's (look >here< and >here<). It can be use to setup windows xp for allmost laptop.
I found them under system32\drivers - one is named disk.sys and one named partmgr.sys Now it says to locate the sata inf folder - could someone tell me where it is Am refreshing the page like every 5mins... And when i choose either, this pops up. Since im running in RAID I needed to slipsteam the drivers for xp via nlight. (which I did) I slipstreamed them via txt mode and am now currently burning the disc.
